Industrial Wastewater
Rising costs for drinking and process water are ever influencing the production costs of industrial companies. The only way to lower these costs is through the reduction of the water consumption by wastewater recycling and its reuse in the resulting production process. The modular concept of System S&P® compact treatment plants assures in a simple way the adaptation of the components on the production capacities, which in turn influences the economical development of the company.
Due to close contact with well known scientific institutes, the System S&P® research section is continually developing more modern and economically interesting processes and process combinations. For this, System S&P® offers all established processes to recycle wastewater back into the water circuits. System S&P® lamella separators type LMS can be used, for example, to easily sediment the particular matter of washing processes. With the System S&P® rotating immersion disc technology it is possible to eliminate all biodegradable ingredients of wastewater.
In cooperation with partners Chriwa GmbH and Cuss GmbH, System S&P® offers a total range of tertiary/ongoing purification steps through reverse osmosis.
In the food processing industry field as well as the construction of testing plants, System S&P® is especially requested as a competent partner. In many other fields of industrial wastewater treatment clients also rely on the long-term experience of System S&P®.
System S&P® offers its clients the possibility to receive an online dimensioning and a noncommittal offer for a required wastewater treatment plant by filling out the request form.
Modular Wastewater Treatment Plants for Food Industry
Wastewaters from the food industry hold the danger of starting the anaerobe processes very quickly, which extremely complicates the treatment. Inflow and peak loads are characteristic for these wastewaters.
System S&P® also uses the rotating immersion disk technology for organically high loaded wastewaters with most often an extreme oxygen demand, as sufficient oxygen supply to the micro organisms is assured by intermittent change of the biomass into the atmosphere and wastewater.
The aerobe process avoids inconvenient smells from the wastewater treatment plant. System S&P® puts a special regard on the buffering of incoming wastewater flows, so that an equalization of the flow, the organic load and the wastewater temperature is assured. Aside from the biology, System S&P® uses floatation and separation techniques adapted to the special characteristics of the wastewaters. By tertiary treatment steps, a recycling of the purified water for cleaning processes is possible. In the field of the beverage industry, meat and legumes processing, System S&P® plants are successfully in use, too.
 Testing Plants for Special Wastewaters
Despite having a history of more than hundred years, it is still not possible in many cases to definitely forecast a process combination for ever increasingly complex wastewaters. Therefore System S&P® offers the possibility to use testing plants as a combination of multiple treatment processes for biodegradable wastewaters. For many different application purposes, plants in sizes ranging from lab scale up to half-technical versions are individually designed in the System S&P® special manufacture.
In cooperation with the System S&P® research section, treatment tests can be carried out on site. In order to keep the costs for such treatment tests in an acceptable frame for the client, System S&P® has special testing units that can be handed over to the client on a rental or leasing base.
System S&P® has already delivered treatment plants in the food industry, beverage industry, textile industry, waste management, washing industry, and paper industry.
Modular Wastewater Treatment Plants for Other Industrial Wastewaters
Principally all biodegradable wastewaters can be treated with System S&P® rotating immersion disk units. Due to the modular concept System S&P® plants are especially suitable for the adaptation to the specific wastewater. By exchanging or modification of single components, the plant can be ideally adapted to changing wastewater constitutions without any higher installation or even concrete works. In addition to this, the modular concept assures a plant extension within the shortest time possible to allow for production growth.
Aerobe processes especially at high loaded wastewaters avoid almost any inconvenience of bad smell from the treatment plant. For System S&P® the buffering of the incoming wastewater is very important, so that an equalization of flow, load and wastewater temperature is achieved. This is especially important for companies that are working in single or dual shift production.
Aside from the biology, System S&P® installs adequate floatation and separation techniques, depending on the constituency of the wastewater. By tertiary treatment steps, a recycling of the treated wastewater for washing purpose can be possible.
System S&P® plants are successfully in use in the field of the textile industry, waste management, detergent industry, and paper industry.
